Our matcha is made from authentic Ujicha tea produced in Kyoto, with a high level of quality you can only expect from a long-established tea manufacturer and seller in Kyoto. Kane7 Hatakeyama Seicha uses only tea leaves from the first harvest, which grow through autumn and winter and are the first to be picked after the New Year. These tea leaves are amazingly fresh and of optimal quality with no agricultural chemicals.
