JAS-certified organic matcha

Topic 1: Different ways of drinking matcha in overseas countries
Speaking with people who serve matcha in overseas countries, we have heard that it is frequently enjoyed by itself or mixed with almond milk.
We recommend bitter matcha (No.10000 or No.15000) for mixing with sweet drinks like almond milk.
When serving matcha by itself, we recommend No.25000 or more.
Topic 2: Varieties of matcha
There are two types of Kyoto Ujicha leaves: Yabukita and Okumidori. Their different characteristics are
described as follows.
- Yabukita
- This variety has an overall favorable balance and is frequently made into sencha. It has a masculine, powerful flavor with a good finish. Large amounts of this variety are harvested, and it offers a good price-performance ratio.
- Okumidori
- This variety has a brilliant color and feminine, mellow, smooth taste. It is perfect for making gyokuro or matcha teas.
